Are you methods for employee happiness and retention the most effective for your company? According to a poll of 270 small business owners, sixty-four percent said that providing remote work options helped them keep "key employees," and staffers who have the choice of where and how to work reported being 12 percent more satisfied with their jobs and 40 percent more likely to innovate than workers who did not have that option. The survey also found that employees benefit when companies create collaborative workspaces in the office and offer employees ways to stay connected outside of it through mobile devices and the use of the cloud.
